In a world gone soft...

Disgrace to the Man Race

Thanks, JokersHigh, for bringing this to the fore. While the USFHCCC would certainly never condone the consumption of such calorie-laden snackery, we do appreciate both hilarity and the punishment of the non-hardcore—regardless of orientation...*

Get some nuts, you effete busybodies!

Ok, so this has nothing to do with the Mr T post, but I can't write my own posts so I'll put it here.

I get a daily newsletter from Craig Ballantyne, author and creator of the 'Turbulence Training' system. He's recently been doing kettlebell work and is putting together a KB program for his clients. This was a 'intermediate' sample he mailed today which I thought you might like to see:

Big Iron Portion
-Double Kettlebell Front Squats 4 x 5
-Kettlebell Snatches Ladders 3-5 x 1,2,3

Burn Circuit - 3 cycles
-Turkish Get-ups - 2 reps per side
-Renegade Push-Hold + Push-up - 30 sec + 5 reps Blast Strap Body Row - 12 (no idea what this means)
-2 Hand KB Swing - 20

This doesn't really sound all that hard, but he claims it gasses some of his clients. I think we're more HARDCORE than this but I thought I'd share anyways.
