Suggestions for Next Week?



How are we feeling folks? Last night was great. I woke with that good sore this morning (which kept me in bed and not anywhere near the track).

What do folks want to do next week? Share exercises or complete routines.

Here's one I made up awhile ago based on a kettlebellinc.com article..

1) Clean + press: 8-10 per side, alt

2) KB squat: 8-10

3) Bent-over rows: 8-10 per side

4) Snatch: 8-10 per side

5) 20 Swings

6) Jump rope: 100-150 units of jump rope(?)

Repeat 3x, take 30sec-1min between each exercise.


The jump rope can be switched with any kind of "sprint" such as mountain climbers, burpees, jumping squats, grasshoppers etc. with teh appropriate amount of reps/duration.

Just did this one. In the theme of numbered workouts (i.e. the 300 workout, the 500 BW workout, the 1000 workout {wtf???}) I'll call it the 240 Workout to be trendy/annoying.

Warmup: Shadow box +stretch

Perform 3x:
20 snatch/arm (oww)
10 kb squat (use heavier weight if you have it)

Perform 3x:
KB lunge: 10/side, use heavier weight if you have it
One-legged side pushup things: 10

If you want to round this out to 300, I suppose you could add this:

3x:
20x Burpees
10 pullups

I can't really do burpees in my bedroom due to space issues so it may work better outside. You should probably throw some ab exercises in there too to make Mark happy.

How about some core work. I have a good abs crunches routine that gives you 425 reps and works abs and obliques, it's killer.
